When we Kiln Dry a log we remove moisture by simply warming the logs in a kiln – This ensures the lowest moisture content of the log, and this in turn makes the logs easier to burn.

Kiln Dried Logs also tend to burn cleaner, with higher temperatures and an increased efficiency.
Lower moisture logs are also easier to light, so your open fire will be roaring before you know it!

Kiln Dried Logs burn hotter, cleaner and for longer – So you get a much better burn and lower fuel costs – In comparison an open air dried log is about 33% as efficient as a kiln dried log.
